For over 40 years, ABO-ERG Geotechnics (subsidiary of ABO Group France) is an independent engineering consultancy renowned for its expertise in geotechnics, hydrogeology and hydrology/hydraulics, contaminated sites and soils. Its strong growth has enabled it to build a team of complementary scientific specialists who deal with all issues related to soil and subsoil.

To continue its strong growth, ABO-ERG Geotechnique is seeking for its agency based in La Seyne-sur-Mer (83), a Operations Managertion Geotechnical Engineer (M/F) – Office-based role.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work directly with surveyors, site managers and engineers based at our branches in the south-east (Vitrolles, La Seyne-sur-Mer and Nice).

Your main responsibilities are:

• Prepare operational files and check that the information required by the field teams is complete and available
• Identify the human and material resources required to carry out the interventions
• Help plan operations and allocate resources, taking into account site constraints
• Oversee the day-to-day running of construction sites
• Ensure that the timeframes allocated to each operation are adhered to in terms of human and material resources
• Keep the timetables and information in the Dispatcher software up to date
• Organise follow-up and planning meetings for field operations
• Help ensure compliance with the relevant safety rules and procedures when preparing for operations

We are looking for :

You have a good understanding of geotechnics, site investigations and ground conditions, gained in particular through your work as a geotechnical technician or site supervisor (M/F).

You are a good listener and comfortable in conversations; you enjoy working as part of a team and know how to deal with the unexpected.

You know how to prepare for an operation, anticipate the resources required and manage priorities.

Your organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for ensuring reliable monitoring of several construction sites.

You have a good command of IT tools, and knowledge of the Dispatcher application would be an advantage.

A two-year or three-year degree in geotechnical engineering, civil engineering or engineering technical support is recommended.

Remuneration:

depending on experience + RTT + profit-sharing + holiday bonus
