To continue its strong growth, ABO-ERG Géotechnique is looking to recruit a Project Manager for its Major Projects Department, based in Senlis (60). Mobile site technician (M/F) in the North sector.

Under the responsibility of the Major Projects Agency Manager and in collaboration with engineers, your assigned tasks will contribute to the proper preparation of construction sites necessary for the completion of our studies for industrial companies, major players in the Energy Production, Distribution and Transport sector (construction of new structures, renovation and safety works, etc.).

Your main responsibilities are:

• Preparation of survey sites: DICT (declaration of intention to commence works), site layout, site surveys, access authorisation requests, provision of field teams, etc.
• On-site support for teams and subcontractors, as well as liaising with our clients,
• Recognition of foundations and monitoring of excavation work carried out using mechanical diggers,
• Conducting on-site tests: water tests, electrical resistivity measurements, etc. (training provided by an expert technician on all our processes and tools),
• Detailed description of core samples taken by our teams,
• Reporting on site visits
• Compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental (QHSE) procedures and rules within the agency and during field operations

We are looking for :

With a 2-year university degree (DUT) in Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Sciences, you will have successful experience in a field-oriented role (internships and sandwich courses accepted). To fulfil these roles, you need to be highly independent, organised and able to manage your priorities. With excellent interpersonal skills and a real flair for communication, you'll be able to act as an interface between customers, survey teams and engineers. Your dynamism and responsiveness are real assets when it comes to dealing with the unexpected.

 

This position requires permanent travel.
